So How are We Going to Reach West Africa?

Our Ministry Plan:

I'm glad you asked! Our ministry plan is found in Matt 28:18-20 and  2 Timothy 2:2.  The pattern we want to follow is in the Great Commission – to Teach, Baptize, and Disciple.

Teach – We believe, especially in a country like Togo, that a person must properly understand the Gospel to believe the Gospel.

Baptize – We believe that every person should then be baptized by immersion and become active in the church.

Disciple– Then we want to see every Christian grow in maturity “to observe all things” and become disciples of the Lord Jesus.

Plant Churches – God has ordained the church and our desire is to see strong, self-supporting, self-governing, self-propagating, Bible-based churches started in Togo.

That will be our focus – to start churches, evangelize the lost, and train them to do the same.  This is not a strategy, it is God’s prescription.

Train Leaders – The priority for our ministry will be to teach and train faithful men who will be able to teach others also (2 Tim 2:2). The fundamental problem in Togo is the lack of strong, doctrinally sound, evangelizing churches.

We believe in using and teaching the biblical principle of multiplication, rather than addition. As we teach young men and train them for the ministry, we expect the ones we have trained to in turn, train others as well.

We want the people of Togo to hear and believe the gospel, find their joy and purpose in Him, and be used to reach others.

I know what you're thinking, "That sounds great, but what does that actually MEAN? What does that look like in Togo?"

Again, GREAT question! Here's the simplest answer to that question:

We will be working along side veteran missionaries in Togo. While they work in multiple countries, we will be helping them in Togo.

There are many ministries the Napper’s operate that all lead to church planting.

We will be helping in the Bible Institute, soul winning, and church planting. As our language ability grows, so too will our ability and opportunities to be involved in more ministry there. We are especially excited about the opportunity to serve in the Bible Institute training young men to go plant churches. It is through this ministry that we will be able to send young men out around West Africa, across all of Africa, and eventually all over the world.

We believe soul winning and making disciples are the fundamental steps to planting lasting, indigenous churches.
